Elle Decor, a French magazine distributed in 60 countries, has chosen to present Sauna and Hammam by Effe in an article dedicated to the 2019 Edition of “Elle Decor Grand Hotel“.

These installations have been used by Studio Matteo Thun & Partners, protagonist of this year’s edition, in order to give shape to a futuristic vision of Hotels based on the concept of “Design Therapy”. Elegant colours and lines have in fact perfectly combined with scents and natural elements, creating an environment that promotes physical and mental well-being.

Parts of the article are set out below:

From the restaurant, a corridor leads to the wellness areas: the Hammam and the Sauna, both bespoke of Effe by Effegibi. Here the rarefaction of space is accentuated by the materials and the light reflected on the translucent surfaces.
In the centre, the custom-designed sculptural bench is covered with Casa dolce casa – Casamood surfaces and Florim as the floor and walls. On the faucets by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez for Fantini, like the shower area, linen by Quagliotti, towel rails by Mingardo, Acqua di Parma and Comfort Zone products. On the left, the glass wall diffuses the light of Delta Light. On the right you can see the entrance gate marked, like all the passages of the Grand Hotel, by wood panelling Alpi (next page), the Sauna is an enveloping place that ensures peace and privacy, designed by the slatted ceiling and a large wooden wing.

From Giovenale’s statement, “Mens sana in corpore sano“, has been derived the current interpretation of the psychophysical well-being that can be achieved with sport. In the Gym room, no mechanical equipment: you train with rings and weights by Kenko – Sport Equipment and aerobic balls by Vluv distributed by Intentions. On the floor of Itlas there is also a relaxation seat by A. Häberli for Alias and a stool by True design. On the floor there are 24 thermal bottles of Bottles. Delta Light pendant lights. Opposite page, in Effe by Effegibi’s bespoke sauna, the shower area is equipped with taps by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez for Fantini. Quagliotti bathrobes. (next page)
